Hi Teagan! I am a big fan of your art, and also of your photo tumblr. You've mentioned being conscious of animals in your product choices (brushes, etc.), and I was just wondering if you were a vegetarian or vegan as well? Just a random question. Have a lovely day.

I have a mostly vegan diet, and do my best to be vegan with my other buying choices (clothing, cosmetics, etc), though I’m sure there are lots of things I overlook. There are countless health, ethical, and environmental reasons to use fewer animal products and be more aware of what goes into the creation of any products you buy. I try to live my life in a way that causes as little hurt to other living things as possible and be aware of how the money I spend impacts the world, and compassion towards animals is a huge part of that. I don’t like to get into social or political agendas overtly, but I do think that this subject is relevant to my art, because one of my hopes for my work is that when people see it, they become a tiny bit more aware of how beautiful and complex the natural world is, and more conscious of their own relationship with it. Thanks for the ask!
